Microsoft placed a bid through a letter to the board of 44.6 billion dollars, which is 62% more than Yahoos! closing share price on Thursday. Yahoo! has been receiving hard competition from its competitors, mainly Google, which is a common enemy of Microsoft as well. In order to actually revive the company Yahoo! has posted that they would have to actually spend an addition $300 million this year in order to get it back in standard working order.

In this turn of events in which Microsoft wants to purchase Yahoo! for 44.6 billion, Yahoo has responded with the claim that they are going about it just like any other offer, and will select the plan that offers the best outcome for its long-time share holders. However, what is even more interesting then whether or not Yahoo will take the offer, is what new direction will Yahoo! be heading in with Microsoft controlling it, and is Google worried?

Avot mV is one of the first programs to give you unlimited Access to Web Based Videos on your iPhone / iPod Touch. It enables users the function to search, personalize, and play videos from the internet, and then keeps an idea of what they like so the next time around it can even suggest videos. The Avot mV - Product Site goes into some great details of exactly what Avot mV can do for you, and it really is quite cool.

Over on their official blog I actually read about how Avot mV transfers the movie to your web enabled device within seconds depending on the movie size, and it eliminates that nasty video quality, and also all the hang-ups that coincide with things such as buffering and sometimes even server lag. Getting to the video is an easy feat as well, With the navigation on Avot mV the user is able to point and click to find videos instead of having to type in all those pesky urls, that can takes days for an unskilled phone typer, on a qwerty keyboard or not!

Their corporate site is filled with more information as well (like how you can get started!) if I had an iPod Touch myself, I would have to say I would be all over this web platform that would give me access to great web videos all within a flew clicks of a screen, especially since it would get rid of the typing of the url and everything else a lazy person like myself doesn’t take to much pride in doing!

The cingular wireless and rogers wireless are among the top wireless internet providers. The cingular wireless internet company is aiming at widening the wireless internet anywhere in the world.

Why not just get rid of the ‘Cyber-Wimps’ ? A recent study showed that 34% of 12-15 yr olds have been hassled via high tech means. This means harassment through text messages, emails, or posting on myspace etc. This is ridiculous.

If someone was to post a mean note of me on the internet whenever I was 12, It would’ve been obvious how retarded the bully is, and in return, I would continue to beat him with the cell phone or keyboard he posted it with. Britain’s Campaign against the Cyber-Bullying is laughable as well. In their push to end Cyber-Bullying they are instructing the kids not to respond to malicious text or emails, saving the emails as evidence, and not handing out personal data like passwords and phone numbers.

Yeh I thought this was a given, if some kids gets bored with mashing your face in your lunch, and asks for your myspace password, why would you give it to him? If the kid is stupid enough to do that, he deserves it. Not responding to text or emails will not work either, it is basically the “turn the cheek” method most fathers tell their bullied son to do, exclaiming that “he just wants attention” yeh .. doesn’t work.

If you want to get rid of cyber-bullying, get the parents to whip the will out of their kids to bully others, or tell the kids that actually let a “cyber-bully” have any control over them to buck up.

[read] yahoo

When it comes to the selection of internet phone services, many options of internet phone are available for people. Even now for high quality services some providers have started voip as well but before becoming voip client of such providers, people need to make sure whether they are getting some quality services or not.

Digg has “Dugg” (tee hee) deeper into the social networking scheme, and amped up the user experience with new features, which actually pisses me off. I had a digg that was doing quite well whenever the website went down for a few hours, and when it returned my article was no where to be seen.

Aside from the loss of traffic, I logged onto the site and visited my profile and was greeted with a sleek user interface, that was rather enjoyable. The re-done user area allows for a profile that really sets you apart, lets others know the person behind the “Digger” (even the ugly ones.) Some of the new profile options available are the shout box, and a system that suggest Digg friends to you based on what stories you often digg, and where you are seen most on the site.

Why Digg? I go to Digg to see news (and also reddit but don’t tell them that.) I don’t go to digg hoping that my BFF Jill is on, or to see what new pictures the slut up the street posted, that is what myspace is for. Whenever people go to news related sites, they typically would like to see news instead of having to deny creepy friend request and random messages. All I am saying is Digg, I like you, but I don’t want to have “Digg Angles” starting in pictures to shave off 40 pounds.

The bluehost is currently leading in webhosting but the cheapest hosting web is WordPress who is providing even free web hosting services to their millions of clients. If you want to find web host that can provide you best hosting services you can find online expert’s in-depth analysis and review of anhosting services.

In response to my iPod Touch article on the hands-on done by Eric for the iPod Touch, I have compiled a list on the Top 5 Reasons to NOT get a iPod Touch. IN no particular order.

Reason 1: No Camera. A camera would of been a great reason to upgrade from your iPod Nano, and even the Video. Instead of sticking close to the iPhone however, the camera jumped ship in the production on the iPod Touch. It is still unknown if the camera will be added in later versions of the iPod Touch, but if they want my business they better add one (at least 2 mega pixels!)

Reason 2: “Negative Black Effect”, want to watch movies on the iPod Touch? One of the MAIN features to the gadget? Well if its a horror film, or in fact any movie that has ANY dark scene in it, there is a pesky bug going around that actually causes dark portions of movies to end up being, well .. black. Leaves you guessing what the hell you are looking at often times!

Reason 3:Storage Capacity, seriously 8GB & 16GB models are so second generation.I understand the battery life concept of things, but they could of at least went with a 30GB, which is typically the MINIMUM for anything praying to be a respectable video player. Even in the mp4 format a full length film can run you 200-500 MB , and whenever you couple that along side an extensive music library, you might as well just carry around a Sony PSP for your entertainment needs.

Reason 4: Multitasking isn’t there, want to surf the web using your portable web browser, AND listen to music at the same time? Be ready for choppy seconds, there are numerous reports across the web that state whenever you try to do two things at once you experience slow loading, and hang-ups, which is not acceptable with any product delivered from apple, at an Apple price.

Reason 5: $399? Really.. for the amount of hard drive alloted and the features on it, it isn’t worth $399, even with the personal web browser. Portable Web Browsing has been done, even on a frickn’ Nintendo DS, and it only cost $39.99 (price check?) I just don’t see how they justify the price, no camera, no space, and buggy hang-ups, if anything I would wait for the next batch of new versions to roll out before dropping $399 on the iPod Touch.

The iPod Touch is a cool concept, just in baby form, pack it full with more goodies, and get the bugs worked out and we can talk Apple.

Free computers software engineering guide provides you with special software scripts and software tools that would help in developing different modules of chat software and image generating 3d software as well.

The Treo 500v is hitting Europe sporting a new look, with the same hardware. It doesn’t matter though, a phone could go back to its roots of being a phone, but look cool as hell and no one would care!

Set to arrive in Europe and Africa next month the Treo 500v by Palm sports a sleeker design over its predecessor and is considerably more compact. All looks and no new play can hinder this phones success. Using a stripped down version of Windows Mobile 6, and not bringing any new candy to the sand box of ideas it will leave little to be desired for the techies out there. It is still to early to talk of the hyped success yet, because the price has yet to be revealed, as well as the US date to release. Personally, it will probably do little to grab any new attention or subscribers.

Eric Dahl, over at PC WORLD, has provided us with a exclusive first look at the iPod Touch. One of Apple’s newest checks in the bank, it is a follow up to the Apple iPhone that most of America has yet to get our hands on. In the hands-on Eric covers the 16GB model, the iPod touch is also available in an 8GB model, but between the storage size there is no difference. The 16GB model rings in at a $399 price tag, and if a touch screen isn’t important to you, nor the internet capability, you can stop reading right…. here.

If you have continued reading then you are in need of a new gadget! Don’t get me wrong, after reading Eric’s review of the iPod touch I am scrambling up the pennies in my house trying to afford one, however, in his review he exclaimed various bugs that can halt music playback, and even cause dark scenes in movies to be, well, black. These are bugs that should not be present in a $399 gadget, and does not meet the standard so often set by Apple.

What Features Can I Look Forward To?

The $399 isn’t just a fancy number they came up with, it is packed with some nifty little features that can throw forth the price. In a sense, it is a iPhone slimmed down, on both the phone features, size, and the 70-page usage fee. Some of the features to point out is the wi-fi capability which actually lets you use software on the touch to connect to a online music library to download music directly to the phone, and it also provides access to the internet through portable safari.

All of the features are posses by its big brother the iPhone, however, the iPod touch lacks the camera (which would of been a great feature!) and the phone, which was a given and won’t be missed. If you are considering the features to push you away from your iPod Video, you should take note the navigation through touch is seamless, and works great according to many reviews across the web. The internet also serves as a great pastime, especially if you can’t find time to sneak a laptop into class. If however, you can’t cram your library of photos, music, and movies onto the 8GB or even the 16GB hard drive, why change right now?

The Software Might Be A Good Reason… Or not?
Like the iPhone, the iPod touch does come with some good software, however is missing some necessary apps to make it seem worth the expense. The most interesting to me is the Portable Safari to surf the internet, however, pointed out by Eric if you try to surf the web while listening to music, it can cause hang ups, which is unacceptable in my eyes. Apple also cut out some of what makes the iPhone so special, the mail app and google maps, and also felt the need to leave out the stock widget, and weather widget. SO basically all we have to look forward to is the internet.

Wait it out!

You should, really, just wait it out. Stick with your iPod Video. The kinks and bugs will be worked out, the storage capacity will raise substantially in no time, and more features will be added. Apple always works like this, and the early birds can prance around with their iPod Touch, but whenever the next version come out they will have to drop another $399 or more to get it, and they will, because it will be better.

I would give it a few months until the “iPod Touch Revolution” (clearly a made up name) comes out, and will squash the previous version. Smart people over at Apple, but be smarter and wait for all the kinks to be worked out, and the improvements to be made before you pick up an iPod Touch.

You need web design and web hosting consulting services to achieve the web development degree. Web hosts reviews, web-hosting guides and online presence of web design consulting firms help individuals and small businesses who are seeking web design, web development and shared or dedicated hosting services.
